You are Never Far Enough from Jesus!

Updated: Jan 27, 2021

Hello my friend! I am excited to have you here reading my very first post of this journey we're about to embark upon together. As you already might now, I'm Allen Rodriguez (although my friends, like you, call me 'Arodz') and I'm the founder of the #neverfaraway channel and blog. This blog was created with two main reasons in mind: (1) I want to share Jesus with as many people as possible as I believe this is one of my purposes in life, and (2) because I want to create a network, a family from which we can learn from each other and help each other as much as possible. I strongly believe that we came into this world to serve, not to be served, and this is just one of the ways in which I can give back to both, God, and my world-family.

you are never alone
Never forget.

I think that every single person in the world, at one point or another, has felt alone. You see, the pace at which most of us live our lives demand self-centered goals, and when all we can think about is on "I", then there's not much room left for the "us". The reason this happens is because on our day-to-day we're being bombarded with media advertisements that nurture on our minds the illusion that we need more in life. More money, better technology, better services, bigger properties... etc. It is only when we are hit with the reality that perhaps we can't have the wealth that we would like, that we then fall into pseudo-depressive states and realize that we've been so narrow-minded into our "success" ideal, that we now stand on our own island alone.

I named my blog "Never Far Enough" because we live in a world where solitude and depression are rampant and destroying many lives. I am here to tell you my friend, that you are never, let me be emphatic, NEVER far enough from Jesus; the only one that can genuinely fill your life and give you a purpose. When all else is gone, remember that Jesus never is. the Bible says in Revelations 3:20:

"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me."

That same Jesus also says in Jeremiah 33:3:

"Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

Even further than that, the Bible says in Psalms 27:10:

"Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close."

With this, my friend, know always that you are NOT alone. When everyone and everything else is gone, Jesus is Never Far Enough from you. As a matter of fact, He's right now waiting to spend some time with you and comfort you. Also, we're here. If something is bothering you and you need a prayer or someone who talk to on an anonymous basis, reach out to us! We'll be glad to pray for you and help you through whatever situation you're going through. As I said, we're here to serve.

It is my intention to make of this blog a place to discuss Bible truth, experiences, ask questions about Jesus, strengthen our faith and create a family so that one day we can all hold hands in heaven, on that day we're all yearning for, and share together for eternity. I look forward to that day, and it is my desire that you'll be there with me. Jesus is at the door right now, will you let him in?

Call to Action:

Take 5 minutes of your day and tell Jesus about you've done in the past few hours, something you're thankful for, and something you'd like Him to help you solve.

Also, if you haven't already, I invite you to visit our Youtube Channel (link at the bottom of the page) and subscribe so you'll be the first to know when we release content.
