A few days ago I came across the video I leave for you below. Please take 3 minutes to watch; in a world with so much darkness, light seems to be even more darkness. God is the Author and Creator of life... is it really up to us to make life or death decisions on behalf of those who cannot speak?
Remember:
"You shall not murder." - Exodus 20:13
"Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it:‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” - Matthew 22:37-40
... by the way, "neighbor" refers to everyone else.
Often times I look at the political arena and the priorities of the world and I'm just left without breath and with huge anxiety. We're not talking about how to end world-hunger, how to allocate resources to those who most need them, how to provide shelter to the homeless or ensure that everyone has equal access to good medical services... instead we're talking about gun laws, abortion, marriage rights and funding our military programs. I cannot but wonder, what is going on? Then, I reflect on what I've studied and I actually know what is going on, it's all in the Bible. Take a look at Matthew 24 for instance and also Revelation 12-13. Things will get worse as the world steadily approaches its end.
There's only two things that are a certainty in this world: (1) we are all bound to die, and (2) Jesus is coming. If you're reading this post, you're already on your way to #1, as to #2, are you prepared?
Come to Jesus.
